Physical Description

Five storey aluminum glazed curtain wall building with concrete frame and floors. Single storey entrance is a recent addition.

History

Building constructed for the Red Cross blood donation program in Perth in the 1950's.
The building was designed by architects Hawkins and Sands, well known in the period for their use of modern design and construction techniques including curtain wall construction.
