One of the simple timber cottages built in the townsite for the accommodation of workers at the workshops.
The houses were built predominantly by the company which owned and managed the town, Millar's Timber and Trading Company from the 1890s to the 1970s.
The materials for the cottages were likely to have been manufactured in the workshop and local tradesmen built the homes to a standard design.
This building was burnt down by the January 2016 Yarloop/Harvey/Waroona Fire. The chimney was left standing however has since been deemed structurally unsound and was subsequently removed.
