Statement of Significance

The sole remaining example of a substantial and permanent form of duplex housing close to the commercial core of Hannan St.

Physical Description

Stone & brick duplex villa.
An ornate Victorian duplex. It appears to be one building but is divided by a parapet wall along the ridge. It is constructed of brick with a CGI roof and has a verandah round the front of the building. The detailing includes a castellated parapet above the bay windows at the front, turned finials on the gables and carved barge boards and rafters. The building is in good condition and it is still used as a duplex residence.
