Part of the heritage of Cottesloe. An Edwardian building in a lovely location situated between two other houses of heritage value in an area being considered as a precinct.
Symmetrical Edwardian bungalow [1907-14] with a hipped roof with gablets to east and west fitted with wooden louvres for ventilation. The house has a tall corbelled chimney, iron roof with bullnose verandah held up by turned posts and a replacement cement rather than a wooden floor. The central door has diamond paned leadlights to either side and the windows are double hung in pairs. There is no frieze. The tuckpointed brickwork has been painted. It is situated in an overgrown treed garden facing the park where it becomes the double carriageway of tree lined Grant Street.
R.P. Gibb-1954 1954- Mr and Mrs C.J. Callcutt. CT vol 538 folio 177 Major renovation to rear of the house in 1956.
