Statement of Significance

Single storey brick and tile house dating from 1923. The place has aesthetic value for its contribution to the streetscape and the surrounding area. It is representative of the typical building stock located within the residential areas of Claremont. The place is an example of a modified Inter-War California Bungalow style of architecture.

Physical Description

Walls are roughcast render above dado height with painted brick below. Terracotta tiled roof with terracotta finial. Large gable over whole width of house with roughcast render to gable end. Tiled porch to front door supported by square timber posts. Tiled roof awnings over windows. Timber casement windows. Rear addition set back. High timber fence to boundary
