Statement of Significance

Historic - the Moana woolshed was used as a local hall for meetings dances and as a depot shed for shearing of local farmers' sheep.

Physical Description

Moana is situated on the Chester Pass Road just south of the Borden Bremer Bay Road turnoff Mr David Milne took up Moana in about 1905. The house was built in 1908 from mud bricks and is still in use today. The woolshed, built approximately 1910, was pre-cut in Perth and the iron was from Bailey's Reward Mine at Coolgardie.
