A minor landmark place in Forrest Street that has a specific seaside flavour.
Bamber House, Although It has undergone some infilling and modification, this pleasant interwar multiple residential complex presents an elegant illusion of a single large dwelling. It is made of rendered brick and has a broken back hipped and gable roof. The gables are of rendered brick with a simple exposed brick decoration pattern. The verandah has a solid balustrade with short concrete columns that approximate the Tuscan order supporting the verandah. Chimneys are rendered with decorative brick capping and clay pots.
In 1918 owned by Kyren Brennan.
