The site commemorates pioneers of the district.
The timber gate posts and wrought iron gates are still in place. Stone memorial plaques, cast iron rails and wrought iron rails.
On the 12th March 1890, Bishop Parry (Anglican) consecrated the cemetary grounds. James Clinch paid William Read 2 pounds to cut and dress the gate posts and swing the English (Howard & Son -Bedofrd) imported hand made wrought iron gates, Initially no charge was made for the plots and they were dug by local volunteers. Peter Dix dug the first grave for William Hunt who was murdered at Bebano in 1891. Other grave sites include; William Hunt 1891 Sarah Clarke (wife of GB Clarke - Indarries) 20 June 1893 John Gladwell 1898 Ann Broad 1898 James Broad 1890 William Campbell 1907 - first Secretary of the Moora Roads Board William Read 1921 Agnes Sommers 1922 Henry Read George 1923 (son of Beatrice- aged 8) Beatrice Read 1930 There are 24 unmarked crossed and an unnamed grave with a fence. HB Lefroy read the services.
