The Waldeck house has some local historic significance for its connection to the Bingham family and the commercial development of the district. Further the place contributes significantly to the streetscape of Poynton Parade.
Located adjacent to the corner store on Poynton Parade. The house is of timber framed construction with weather-board to half wall height and fibro above. The roof is of corrugated iron and dutch gable style with gablets to the north and south The roof spreads to cover the verandahs. There is a brick chimney to the north. The verandahs are supported on timber posts, the south verandah has been enclosed with fibro below and timber framed windows above. There are lead light timber framed windows to the front and a central entrance door.
