Statement of Significance

Newy Davis first took up the area known as Brooklyn Farm in 1890. He was a leading light in Tunney affairs and was on the first Road Board in 1926. The homestead was burnt down in the late 1960's. It was constructed of mudbrick and weatherboard with a stone chimney. The roof was iron.

Physical Description

The homestead was situated on a rise above Slab Hut Brook. Some ruins of the old building remain.
