The apartments and flats built throughout the Nedlands district have varying aesthetic, historic and representative cultural heritage value. This building differs from the other apartments and flats selected to be on the Invnetory, as it was built in the 1960s rather than in the Inter-war period. It reflects some creative building techniques which give the building an interesting textured appearance
These two buildings, arranged around a centraJ access driveway, generated a lot of discussion when first completed, A dark red brick blend, two storey building, it was a courageous attempt at cost cutting at the time, with an interesting texture resulting, The fmish was created by leaving the brick joints undressed.
This building was probably buiJt in the 1960s. It is thought that Krantz and Sheldon, Architects were the designers
