Statement of Significance

An early u-shaped peppermint tree lined laneway established in "Old Dunsborough" which followed the contours of the land. Established early this century linking the Roman - Catholic Church property, located on the coast, with Gifford Road. Named after the Thurstun family who built a cottage on one of the original Dunsborough lots. Currently a popular walking trail and vehicle access way.
