Statement of Significance

The community united to build the tennis courts and cricket pitch cl922. Like the Tunney Hall, the sports ground was the meeting place for the people of Tunney for their social pleasure.

Physical Description

The sports areas have now regenerated to bush. The cricket pitch is still there, but the tennis courts, though visible, are in disrepair, with the fence and bush shelters falling down.
