Statement of Significance
The site represents associations with pioneers, sport and a way of life no longer practised.
History
The cricket club was called the West Wongan Club. The cricket grounds were about 3 miles west of the hall where another cricket pitch and tennis courts were built, and the lake ones subsequently abandoned.
