Statement of Significance

The Wesfarmers building contributes significantly to the streetscape of the main street, given its scale, construction materials, condition and location. Further the shop has serviced the Coorow community for many years.

Physical Description

A small rectangular timber framed building, roofed and clad with corrugated iron. The wall cladding has been fixed horizontally. The street facade has central double entry doors with large shop windows each side. Below the windows, vertical timber matchboard cladding is used. A vent covered by an iron awning is positioned above the doorway.
