Statement of Significance
Land pioneered from 1895 by Jacob & Annie Schmitt. Socially significant as area of social interaction - golf club from 1928, Kalamunda Learning Centre site (1977 -1994). Currently used as public park and walk area.

65 acres of semi-bushland, formerly a golf course and site of Schmitt's first home.
