Statement of Significance

The place is a representative example of the Federation Free Classical Style.

The place has historic value as a demonstration of the development that occurred in Boulder around the turn-of-the-century as it became the service centre of the district.

Physical Description

: A two-storey corner building built to the building line in the Federation Free Classical style. The exterior of the building features a parapet.

Additions and alterations to the building has occurred, including a complete infill of the balcony for additional accommodation, new awing roofs to windows, new balcony supports and balustrade infill.
