The place has historic value as the grave Sullivan, claimed to be the first prospector to have found gold near Leonora.
The grave is in a small garden setting, and is protected by a high link-mesh fence. The lid to the grave is plain and is without a headstone. An inscription is carved into the grave top. Behind the grave is a sign which describes a brief history of Sullivan.
Edward 'Doo-dah' Sullivan died 2.7.1896 aged 36 years. Prospector and barrow-man, first finder of gold near Leonora in March 1896. Headstone and fence erected.
