Physical Description

A large granite outcrop on private property. It is one of the few places where a road alignment has had to be substantially moved to avoid a "rock".

History

This is a natural water catchment. Reference is made to it being called Gray's Rock when a meeting was held there in 1916 to discuss the proposed railway to Yorkraine.
