The place represents a way of life associated with the settlement of the Pingaring area.
Mud brick dwelling with surrounding verandahs under the hipped gambrel corrugated iron roof. The place has four main rooms with a central passageway between the two front rooms, leading into the main back room rooms were completed some years later. The mud bricks were made on site.
Wyatt took up land in 1924, was one of the first permanent settlements in c1935. The east Pingaring phone exchange was established in the home. The phone communication was a valuable link throughout the country and offered a social contact for the otherwise isolated women on the farms.
