These buildings are very important to the character of Napoleon Street and are capable of effective J
conservation to reinforce the charm of the street.
A group of five shops built after 1911 when Mrs Bullen's estate was sold. They employ classical
elements in a very restrained fashion to treat parapets above a conventional canopy. The masonry has
been treated with textured paint that obcures the subtlety of detail. The shopfronts are much modified
and of little interest. The shop contributes positively to the entry to Napoleon Street.
These were occupied in 1931 by Miss Buchanan a draper. Marchant James : 95.
