The place represents associations with war, health and commercial occupations. It is a fine architectural example of athe period and contributes to the streetscape and character of Moora.
Red face rick with a rendered string course and window reveals. The gable roos is clad with corrugated iron and a vent and roughcast panel fom part of the gable infill at the frontage. Three vertical windows with arched tops balance acrosss the building's frontage.
Before World War II a tailor operated his business from theis place. During the war, it was a Spotter's Post, mannned 24 hours a day. From 1946, the place was the surgery for the second Dr Myles. It was owned by the Dyrack family for many years. It was owned by the Durck family for many years. Later the Keamy Stores extended their enterprise and in September 1987 the gift shp pened.
