Statement of Significance

These mature trees are an important visual element of the central sporting and educational precinct. Norfolk Island Pines were a commonly chosen tree in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, they signify the development of their era. Many were planted singly or in pairs, this row is therefore and important group.
