Statement of Significance

Represents the commercial enterprise in the Swan Valley from the early 1900s.

Physical Description

The complex comprises various masonry and iron structures. Only the 1923 facade and the corresponding section of the building are significant.

History

Swan Settlers Co-Operative was established in 1913 and registered in 1918. The earliest part of the existing structure was constructed in 1923. Today the complex incorporates Sunblest Distributors WA. Commercial Beekeepers Co-Op Pty; Australian Dried Fruit Sales Pty Ltd and Export Group Pool of WA.
