Recognition of the site. No specific regulations would be imposed, except in the case where the site is within the bounds of a precinct, in which case the precinct category would take precedence. While the Shire recognises the value of the site, it would be a community and/or Shire responsibility to mark the site, as appropriate in future development, recognition or interpretation.

Statement of Significance

The site represents a way of life.

Physical Description

Weatherboard and iron building.

History

The hall opened in 1919. By 1927 a new brick hall had been constructed but funds had run short. It was decided to relocate the hall for use as the supper room at the new hall. It was mounted onto planks and dragged to its new location. It was subsequently demolished to make way for more substantial extensions to the Yealering Hall.
