Coal Machinery Memorial - Winder, 161 Throssell Street, Collie (Coalfields Museum) has cultural heritage significance for the following reasons:
• It is an example of mining machinery previously used in the area.

Physical Description

The large winder with cable fitted is situated near the security fence of the Collie Museum alongside the Atkinson Street verge.

History

The winder was used at the Western No 2 deep mine. It was previously used in Kalgoorlie.
