Associations with the railway and early settler of the Mooliabeenie district.
Remains of the stone underground water tank which was below the railway buildings which have since been demolished. The railway ramps are still in place. Site of railway station, goods shed, turntable, stockyards.
Mooliabeenie Station was the nearest railway point for settlers east of
the area. Mooliabeenie was the opening for settlers from the Gingin district, and with a railway station, it was a busy centre. The Road Board district office was established in the area further attesting to the centrality. It was a busy station on the Midland to Geraldton line.
