Statement of Significance

An interesting old Cottesloe bungalow fronting spacious Napier Street east of the railway line.

Physical Description

This house has a hipped U shaped iron/zincalume roof. Skillion verandahs to north and west are
supported by turned posts and a small frieze. The central front door has two small side lights with a small
amount of stained glass. The other double-hung windows are symmetrically placed in pairs on either
side. The front of the house has been rendered and painted. The east wall is still tuck-pointed red brick.
There are interesting decorative brackets under the eaves. The picket fence is a recent replacement.

History

In 1905 owned by Charles Potter, a painter.
