Statement of Significance
The place represents a recognition of tourism and visitor potential to the region.
Physical Description
Cream brick construction with a low pitch gable roof in dark green coloured corrugated metal deck cladding. The motel units front the road and have a verandah along the entire length.
History
The place was built in 1965. It was later named the Windmill Motel in response to the fact that Corrigin used to be known as the town of windmills. Since the advent of scheme water in 1960, the windmills have almost disappeared from the Corrigin townscape.
