The place demonstrates a way of life and significant asociations with both Dr Myles. The place is a fine example of it's architectural type in Moora.
Constructed in the 1920s.
This substantial home has a clay tiled roof and limestone verandah walls capped with face brick and finished with square timber columns. The gable roof forms a pavillion tot he street with a gable detail over the front entry porch. The surgery is a self contained timber framed and weatherboard building on the north sideof the house. The house is of the influence of the Arts and Crafts movement with some California Bungalow influences also evident.
Dr Myles was the first doctor in Moora. His son was also a doctor and carried on the tradition in Moora. The first Doctor Myles had the house and surgery built. The second Dr Myles, second wife was a Keamy Family member and ran the Keamy Gift Shop which was the doctor's second surgery.
