The tree has aesthetic value as an excellent example of the species in a park setting.
The tree is a rare example of its type in the City of Gosnells
The tree is a very large and unusual specimen of its type in the district. It is approximately 30 metres in height and has a canopy span of 30 metres. It is located at the rear of the Balfour Street Reserve.
This large Marri tree is believed to be over 150 years old and therefore evidence of the vegetation at the time of early settlement of the district.
