Aesthetic significance as an example of a four roomed limestone cottage dating from the early 20th century. Historic significance for its association with Charles Ashby an early market gardener on the shore of Lake Joondalup.
Four room limestone block and iron roofed house in a state of disrepair.
Cottage of brothers Eli and Charles Ashby established themselves from 1907 as market gardeners. Charles Ashby was also member of the Road Board soon after its gazetting.
