01137 Central Greenough Front Flats (Historic Hamlet Conservation Area)
Good Four roomed stone building with verandah at front and with a corrugated iron roof and timber floors. Architecturally significant for its character and siting in the core of the hamlet. Socially important for its role in the schooling of children of the flats. It was originally built as a house by Ned Godwin and converted to a school by the Presentation Nuns from Geraldton who took over the work of the Dominican Nuns when they moved to Dongara in the early 1900s.
