Statement of Significance

The building is significant on the following grounds: 1. Has provided basic education for the great majority of Narrogin's children since 1905 - as Government School, State School, Junior High School and Primary School. 2. Was the only non-Catholic School in the town from 1905 to the time when East Narrogin Primary School was built.
