Statement of Significance

An important minor example of early Cottesloe architecture and part of a precint in Curtin Avenue.

Physical Description

A hipped and gabled tuckpointed brick cottage with iron roof built pre 1901. The gablet is half-timbered with roughcast render infill. A verandah crosses half the width of the front and returns along part of the north side. Windows are double hung sashes. A large garden wall encloses much of the house from the street.

History

In 1905 the owner was a Mr Marriot and it was rented to a carpenter.
