The homestead at Barnett Station is constructed of timber aand stone and has been extended.

History

Mount Brnett was the main centre for mission activity from 1927 when UAM missionaries camped in the gorges using donkeys fro transport. It was the mission centre during WWII and has been used in association with the mission since that time.
