Of architectural interest in a heritage precinct
Edwardian bungalow built in 1917. Tuckpointed red brick on coursed rubble limestone foundations. Replacement zincalume to the hipped and gabled brokenback roof. The prominent gable to the east is decoratively half-timbered with roughcast render infill and wooden finial. The verandah posts are turned - the balusters are square section. Decorative fretted brackets are rather geometric. The casement windows have some leadlighting. There is stucco quoining and some decorative window sills. The chimneys are brick with stucco sections finished with a corbel and terracotta chimney pots. There is lattice to the rear and an unsympathetic carport to the side. The picket fence has gone replaced by cement sheeting. The current owner notes a verandah was added to the rear in the 1960s.
Built for Gustaf Mengler in 1917. It was later owned by the Andersens and recently bought by the Kins
