The site has historic value for its associations with the Clackline to Toodyay railway. The site has research value as it has potential to contain subsurface archaeological remains.
There is no definitive evidence of the siding. The land was hit by the December 2010 fires. Some bush timber stumps were found which may be remnants of the siding.
This is a siding on the Clackline side of Toodyay.
