Statement of Significance

The park has a social value, being the first park in Morawa and recognising the pioneer Prater family. During World War II, slit trenches were provided amongst the trees, over the road from the hotel.

Physical Description

Bush Parkland, stone and pipe fence, wrought iron sign over entrance. On the southern pillar of the entrance is a plaque of aluminium alloy 30 cm x 38 cm, with the following inscription: This park is dedicated to the pioneers of the district by the Morawa Junior Chamber
