Information on the State Records Office of WA website notes that the most recent Ballidu Primary School, which ceased operations in 2016, was opened on 4 September 1922. Prior to this, several small local schools located in East Ballidu, West Ballidu, Kondut, Damboring and Wongan Hills, had served the area.
