The Waddy Forest School site has some local historic significance given the school operated for 15 years.
Site only. The site is directly west of the former Waddy Forest Telephone Exchange adjacent to the Coorow-Latham Road.
Opened in 1923 the first teacher was Marjorie Underwood. Children attending the school were from the following families: Patton, Wallace, Fowler, Greenwood, Hutchcraft, Redhall, McGilp, Morcombe, Lampard, Bresford, and Roberts. The school closed in late 1939. The reserve has been deregistered, but the site was marked with a plaque in 1988. (Source: Alison Doley).
