Statement of Significance

A public place significant for the now rare typical Victorian character of shrubbery, flower beds, palms and rotunda.

Physical Description

A pleasing open space of grassed and gardened areass, the Park and its rotunda form an important built environmental asset in East Fremantle. The timbered bandstand with its conical roof and tall finial stand amid topiaried shrubs to compete a scene of Victorian elegance.
