The Denmark Seventh Day Adventist Church has aesthetic, social and historic heritage significance. The Church has a long history in the Denmark community. It was first built in Strickland Street in 1896 by the Millars and was used as the Town Hall, also known as the Empire and Agricultural Hall. During the 1950's the Town Hall was relocated to its present position. Alterations during the reconstruction of the hall were made by the committed community members who banded together to build the Seventh Day Adventist Church. On 12th December 1953 the new church was opened with a dedication ceremony. Presiding over the event was the chairman of the Denmark Road Board, FJ Stahl. The completion of the church was during the service of Pastor JCH Perry.
The present Seventh Day Adventist Church is built as a simple symmetrical design with a gable roof. The porch at the front is a smaller version of the design. Wooden framed sash windows provide light and air on both sides of the building. The Church has been well maintained and is set in a manicured landscaped garden. To the rear is a modern brick building. The Church property can be entered through a gateway formed by two tall pine trees and a small cement block wall.
