Statement of Significance

Aesthetically significant as an example of Fremantle’s vernacular architecture. Typical local shop and attached residence dating from the first decades of the twentieth century. Historically significant as a representation of commercial activity in the Fremantle area.

Physical Description

Two storey rendered and truncated corner shop, has a parapet crowned with decorative spheres and a semi-circular pediment over the corner. The recessed entrance has a pair of timber and glazed doors and a fanlight and there is a boxed verandah awning, which is probably not original.
