Physical Description

‘The building is constructed of reinforced concrete walls and columns carrying a steel framed roof structure covered with bronze colour bond roofing and finished with wide copper fascias. Permanent ventilation has been installed within the ceiling space and lobby. Floors to circulation space are chocolate manganese brick, teak wood block to main chapel and carpet to gallery.’ ‘Walls and columns internally and externally are concrete faced with hand finished white cement and cream cement blocks.’ ‘Windows are bronze finished aluminium glazed with grey tinted glass.’ ‘Ceilings to chapel and gallery are natural finished spaced Nyatoh boarding with reflecting and absorbing backing.’ ‘Light fittings are bronze finished wall hung and recessed under gallery and semi concealed incandescent down lights to chapel.’
