The building forms part of the remnant building stock which makes up the historic town's fabric.
A single-storey brick and iron house built early 1900. Extensions on northern side are in keeping with original details. House is set in attractive landscaped grounds. A large oak tree is located at the rear of the property.
The place is associated with the growth of Guildford in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
