Statement of Significance

The place represents leisure activities and services in the town during the 1930's. It contributes to the balnce and scale of the Padbury Streetscape.

Physical Description

Constructed in the 1930's. Double shop frontage with double gable parapet. A horizontal band across the parapet has been infilled with vertical profile zincalume metal deck sheeting. A suspended metal deck awning/verandah extends over the footpath. The two shop fronts each have a recessed entry central within it's frontage.

History

Les Kuhl came to Moora in bout 1927. He established a barber's shop, tobacconist and billiard saloon. The billiard saloon had 4 tables.
