Statement of Significance

The double-storey building provides relief to the commercial area which is predominantly single-storey. They also form part of the remnant building stock which make up the historic town's fabric.

Physical Description

A pair of two-storey shops built early 1900s and a single-storey shop built 1893 (Apothecary's Store). The two-storey building has provision for accommodation at the upper level. Original verandah has been replaced with awnings. Original shop front has been replaced but pediment retained.

The buildings are an important component of the traditional commercial centre.
