The place represents a way of life no longer practiced.
Cement block construction with external piers. The gabled corrugated iron roof is concealed by a stepped fascia parapet. A skillion verandah extends across the shop front, and is supported by square timber posts. The recessed entry is located on the north side of the front. The shop front windows consist of square timber framed panels.
Alf Wiles built the place and ran a tearooms, deli and greengrocery during the depression years. After Wiles committed suicide in 1939/40, Ella Greaves took over (Mrs Bullock's daughter) and ran the place until the 1960s.
