Building forms part of remnant building stock which makes up historic town's fabric.
Single-storey brick and iron house c.1894. Original verandah has been replaced with lower pitched roof. House has double hung sash windows, central front door with fanlight and sidelights and original decorative timber work to gable. This home has been altered at the rear. Old brick lined well at the rear still exists, which has not been filled in.
Built for Castle in 1894.
